-We go to sign M up for kindergarten on Wednesday. Please, oh, PLEASE let us win a lottery spot that guarantees a slot in one of the all-day classes. That girl NEEDS to be in school all day. *I* need her to be in school all day. Odds are 2/3 she will get all-day kindergarten. And it goes without saying that I can not believe my tiny baby is going to be a kindergartener already.
-L has finally hit a bit of a language explosion. She has had lots and lots of mostly unintelligible-to-other-people words since early fall, but only began putting together two word phrases in the last two weeks. I know I shouldn’t be worried, but part of me has been a little concerned that she isn’t talking in more complex sentences. Finally, there was a big jump and her articulation is improving significantly, so I can relax a little. I still think I might have her reevaluated by early intervention when she turns two, just to put my mind at ease.
-Thanks to the glorious Figlet and her recommendation of the super-effective grout cleaner from Home Depot, I spent part of today scrubbing my kitchen floor’s grout. Remember when certain people thought my house wasn’t dirty enough way back when? Well, let me assure you, if there is any question that we in the AmFam household are filthy, dirty people, it was 100% confirmed today when I started working on that grout. I think I have only cleaned it once since we moved into this house 3.5 years ago. That grout cleaner worked like magic though.
-It is possible that we may get a tiny hint of spring weather here tomorrow. God, I can not WAIT for spring.
